Poll Result!

Looks like ‘cow’ is the winner in the poll so I will start thinking and plotting and figuring out how to do this!

I guess I shouldn’t be too terribly surprised since my cow stories are basically the second most read stories so it looks like they’re pretty popular with the TF community!

Feel free to toss out random ideas here if you like but don’t be disappointed if I don’t use any of them!…

The Lady, or the Tiger?

A young woman tries to control her change

Note:  Soooo… I completely didn’t plan this story.  Just kinda suddenly decided to write a quick story, settled on a large cat TF and just… sorta… wrote it all in about 5 hours.  Accidentally.  Meant to do a werewolf one next.  Uhhh.  Sorry?

Some days you want to curl up in bed and never, ever move again.  And, that’s fine.  But, then, sometimes you need to just push.  Push yourself to get up.  Push yourself to roll out of bed.  To brush your teeth.  To follow the routine you’ve been following for years. …

Poll Re-do

All right.  Let’s redo this.  The poll I was using wasn’t working.  So, now I have a new poll!  Yay!

Here’s the deal.  I’m going to try to make a community based Choose Your Own Change story.  We start by voting on the animal and then figure out a starting point and go with it.  After each segment, people comment on what they want to do until there’s a consensus and then it continues.

The poll allows you to vote on two animals.  I probably messed this one up, too.  Somehow.  But, we’ll see!  Sorry for the extra work.  I’ll run it for a while and then call a winner when it seems all are done.…

The State of the Union

Hello!

I’m allowing the poll to run a little longer.  We currently have a tie between big cat and cow at 7 votes each.  Below that is frog and bear at 6 each.  So, I’ll let it go until maybe Sunday night?  To see whether that allows for a clear winner.  If not, maybe I’ll just pick one or maaaaybe try to use both?  Dunno.

I had to put aside the story I’d been working on that was giving me grief.  I still want to complete it but I think I was just stuck on it too much.

Next story will be a werewolf story!  …

Calendar Girl Ch. 01

A young woman becomes the target of a strange curse.

A light flurry of snow chased the three young women as they walked along the sidewalk, the surface gleaming wet from melted snow.  Laughter and conversation followed them with people calling out cheerfully and drunkenly.  Store fronts were well lit and busy, even this late at night and a Salvation Army volunteer called out for donations on seemingly every other street.

Trish hugged her body close, shivering for a moment as the wind sliced through her scarf, burning her ears.  Her small, sharp nose barely showed above the scarf.  She tried to burrow her face lower into the scarf but, instead, pulled her knit cap further down.…

2/19/2016, Part 5 – Writing Contest!

Final post of the day!

I want to put together a writing contest with three simple levels of prizes.  I’m going to work out the details but, a broad stroke would be a very simple guideline, three prizes that you can win stuff and then possibly non-prize medals.  Like “Best <something>”.

I’d like them to be posted here but you’d own the rights and could (of course) also post them on your own sites.

Comment below with your thoughts and lets get the ball rolling.  Possibly setting something up for March!…

2/19/2016, Part 4 – Collaboration!

Hey!  Hey you!  Other author person!

Let’s write something together!  Me and you or me and you and other people!  We can swap chapters or sections or whatever you like.  Whatever format you like.  I think it’d be neat if we worked together on a story for people to read and enjoy.

What do you think?  Reply here with a sample story perhaps and what you’re thinking for a project and maybe we can work something out, yeah?

Exciting!…
