The End Of Layers! Now what?

89,294 words.  Give or take.   10 chapters.  That’s a whole lot of words.

I started Layers a year ago on October 2nd, 2012 and now I’ve finished it.  What started as a simple little scene from a fantasy turned into nearly a novel.  I hadn’t planned on writing anything past the first scene but it received very good feedback so I came up with ideas… and then got terribly stuck while trying to figure out how to make it make sense.  A fursuit in a box makes for an okay quick TF thing but not for a longer story.  Not when you want it to make some sense.

So, I asked for help and back in March, 2013, CNash at the Process forums (http://www.process-productions.com/forum/) gave me several great ideas.  I took one of them and added to it and was able to finish the series because of that.  So, all thanks go to him for the way it turned out.

And now what?  Well, I’m talking with the amazing Bruno ( http://arqueart.deviantart.com/ ) to see if I can get “The She-Wolf” illustrated.  He’s the artist I worked with on “The Change” and I already have some art for the project.  I can’t promise when it will be done since he’s a busy man but it’s something that’s being worked on.

I am also going to take a short break from erotica to finish a science fiction short story.  I’m excited about this for several reasons and one of them is that I hope to turn it into a web comic.  I’m not sure whether I will post it under a different name, separate from my erotica stuff or not.  Still figuring that out.

Don’t worry, though – I’m not at all done with TF and TG stuff :)  Plenty of plans and ideas for stories down the road.  Well, plus I need to finish The Lady Wore Red and The Pact.

    • i thought the story did end very well. in the end, i believe ‘hannah’ stayed in him when the skin was taken back. i just like epilogues were you see what happens to characters after some time has passed. unless u might plan a sequel ;)
